The Legacy Chapter 1

The Legacy

Once upon a time,not long ago there was a world named Ertude.In that world the only inhabitants were humans and the most feared Dragons.But,these humans could
transform into beings unknown to this world.These humans befriended the fierce yet,noble dragons.But,that all changed when a evil lord raised from his grave
and covered the land with a dark cloak.Soon enough,everyone who inhabited Ertude went into complete fear.Even the dragons.The only thing that could heal this
wounded world was a sleeping hero.This is the tale of how Ertude got back its freedom.


In the snow covered mountains of Ertude was the cry of a little girl.This little girl was sitting up against a rock,crying.She was holding wrecked coat that
was stained with blood.She stopped crying when a loud bang came from above the cave.A white,small tail was hanging from the caves entrance.The little girl
hid behind the rock and watched as a little dragon climbed into the cave.The dragon was little and furry.It was pure with with a blue markings on its face.
The little girl watched but,saw a huge dragon swoop into the cave!The dragon sniffed and looked straight at the rock the little girl was hiding behind.The
big dragon started to growl at it and walked slowly to it.

Dragon: Come out now.

The little girl held the blood stained coat tight while closing her eyes.The dragon looked over the rock with its long neck and saw the little girl.The
dragon looked around and put its head right down beside the little girl.

Dragon: Whats your name young one?

The little girl opened her eyes and looked at the dragon's head.Not knowing what it was,she responded.

Lina: My names Lina.

Dragon: Nice name.Where are your parents Lina?

Lina: They were fighting but,now there gone.

Lina tightened her grip on the blood stained coat when she said that and the dragon lifted her head off the ground.

Dragon: You can stay here with me,if you wish.

Lina: I would like that very much ma'm.

Dragon: Well its nap time,meet Apala first.

Lina: Apala?

Dragon: Yeah,your new brother.

Lina looked around and saw the little white and furry dragon sniffing her from behind.Lina petted the little dragon and sat down.

Vixen: Hello Apala.

Apala crawled up Lina's leg and onto her shoulders.Apala layed down on Lina's neck with his tail wrapping around her arm and head hanging over her chest.
The dragon smiled then layed down near Lina and started to fall asleep.Lina layed up against the dragon and put the blood stained coat over herself to
keep her warm.As soon as Lina fell asleep,the dragon lifted her head and looked around,sniffing the air.The dragon looked down and saw Lina with the
blood stained coat covering her.The dragon lowered her head and grabbed the coat.The dragon threw it over the rock and wrapped her tail around Lina.
It became morning and Apala was running around the cave.Lina was still asleep but,that soon ended when Apala did a high pitched screech in her ear.

Lina: OH MY IM UP!

Dragon: Good morning Lina.

Lina: Good morning,and good morning Apala.

Apala crawled to the dragon and climbed her.Lina sat down,legs crossed,and looking at the big dragon.

Dragon: Well i'm going to go get some food.Lina,your going to have to come with me.

Lina: Ok.

The dragon layed down and spreaded its wings but,it didn't take flight yet.

Dragon: Come on,get on my back.

Lina: Ok..

Lina walked onto the dragons back and held on to on of its back horns.The dragon lifted its wings and flew out of the cave and soared threw the
snowy sky.Lina was amazed at how beautiful and fun it was up in the sky.She could see the snowy covered trees and the frozen lakes.Sooner then
expected,they were already past the snow covered land and at a very green covered land.

Lina: What place is this?

Dragon: Its Laqsphere,a place that is only known for its feild of flowers.Not to mention its delicious livestock.

Lina: Mmm,food.

The dragon quickly closed her wings and dived head first into the land.Lina was screaming as the dragon quickly flew open her wings and grabbed
the sheep like a owl would and flew right back up,heading back toward the cave.Lina had her eyes closed while keeping a good grip on the dragons
back horn.The dragon landed at the cave and put down the dead sheep.Apala climbed onto Lina's shoulder and nibbled on her ear.

Lina: Ouch Apala! Oh,were home.

Dragon: Yep,now come and eat!

Lina: Ok.

Lina climbed off the dragon's back and walked toward the dead sheep.The Dragon riped off its leg and handed it to Apala who quickly started eating it.
The dragon started to eat some of the sheep while Lina just stared.The Dragon looked at Lina as if worried.

Dragon: Something wrong?

Lina: What is this?

Dragon: Its sheep.

Lina: Sheep?

The dragon just remembered that Lina hasen't had her parents long enough to know what sheep is so,just gave her a peice of the sheep and told her to take
a nibble.Lina bite into it and she thought it tasted pretty good so,she started to eat it.At the end of the day,the weird couple snuggled together and
fell asleep nice and peacefully.
